The Day Trippers are a Vancouver based Beatles tribute band that bring all the excitement of The Beatles' music and personas to life before your very eyes live on stage! Covering all the wonderful dance hits of the early touring years, like Please Please Me, All My Loving, and Love Me Do, all the way through to the spectacular compositions from the later studio albums, like Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Abbey Road, The Day Trippers will transport you back in time with their attention to detail down to the very last note. A shared love of these timeless songs is what brought this group of performers together with a combined goal of faithfully and passionately recreating this music for the enjoyment of fans all over. With period accurate instrumentation and attire but also a clear reverence and adoration for this incredible music, The Day Trippers will have you enjoying the sights, sounds, and love of The Beatles like never before!

Mike Coutts as "George"
Mike was born and raised in Vancouver and has always had a passion for music, sparked by listening to his parents' Beatles albums as a kid. That incredible music inspired Mike to pick up the guitar at the age of 19 and see where it would lead. Being the youngest in the band, he found a kindred spirit in George Harrison and has sought to bring that special something "the quiet one" possessed to the stage with The Day Trippers. He even taught himself to play guitar right handed, just like George!

John Stoltz as "Ringo"
Born and raised in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, John comes from a large family and had plenty of music to listen to including his sister’s Beatles LPs. He was only 4 when he caught the “Beatle bug” and started drumming at the age of 9 as a direct result of The Beatles. He’s been in rock bands since he was 11 years old and has toured and recorded with some of Canada’s most loved artists. He can often be seen playing locally and abroad and also records drums at his home studio. Unlike Ringo, John has never had a passion to open a hair salon but instead has a crazy soft spot for vintage things like Kiekhaefer Mercury outboards and vintage boats of the 50’s and 60’s.

Mylle Fournier as "Everyone Else"
Mylle is only the best there ever was or ever will be! She is an incredible harpist, bass player, and keyboardist extraordinaire who has played with groups ranging from school orchestras to Celtic ensembles, rock, pop, and punk bands, as well as solo performances on stage or playing for residents in care homes, hospitals, and hospice settings. She writes Neoclassical New Age music and hosts an online radio show that delves into the world of instrumental music. With The Day Trippers she takes care of all the additional instrumentation to fill out the soundscape and orchestration of The Beatles' catalogue, from the beautiful harp part in "She's Leaving Home" to the lively piano solo in "Lovely Rita" to the driving horns in "Savoy Truffle" and everything in between. Ask her about her pet guinea pigs... :)
